Contrology Connection offers 3 program options: 150-hour mat certification, 450-hour mat and reformer certification, and a 700-hour comprehensive certification.
Each program grows from the next. All include anatomy lectures, mat and equipment education, special population breakdown, personal development, and professional skills to succeed in the Pilates industry. We are passionate about the vibrant life we receive from teaching the Pilates method, and we create passionate instructors to teach it too!
Contrology Connection, LLC program is founded on the philosophy that Pilates is a workout encompassing strength, power, and agility, used to assist clients in achieving their fitness or health-related goals. The curriculum takes you through the full Pilates repertoire and teaches you how to assess which movements are best for each client. Our instructors can uniquely tailor their teaching approach to work with people of all fitness abilities, ages, and levels.
Our comprehensive course consists of 12 modules, 172 face-to-face workshop hours, and study hours outside of those workshops. Students will learn the Classical Pilates repertoire, variations, how to teach individuals and groups as well as how to approach various pathologies.

Ask yourself, what type of teacher would you like to become?
· A Comprehensive Pilates Certification will give you the best foundation to teach any client, in any format, in any location.
· A Mat Certification will train you to teach mat-based Pilates exercises only. No equipment necessary and can train and teach anywhere.
· A Mat & Reformer Certification will be train you to teach Mat & Reformer Pilates exercises. Useful for teaching group instruction and in places with limited apparatuses.
Research Pilates teacher training programs. Great questions to ask:
· How long does the program take?
· How many hours of practice are required?
· How much direct supervision do you receive?
· Is the training in-person or online or hybrid?
· Is the program all-inclusive or do you pay for everything in parts?
· What is their testing/certification process?
· A good Comprehensive program will take at least 6 months, often up to 1-2 years to complete. It will include a minimum of 450 hours of learning and practice.
· Comprehensive program prices can vary rising more than $10,000+.
Many costs may not be listed up front: cost to observe, equipment needed, book fees, testing fees, if required self-practice hours have to be privates with faculty.

The more experience you have, the better prepared you will feel. The teacher training program is here to teach you how to TEACH. It is best you are not seeing exercises for the first time on a module weekend. Do not worry, we will offer plenty of optional trainings before the weekends begin.
Once registered, you will be sent an on-boarding email. We will send you logs to track your hours, your online anatomy class to be taken at your leisure before our first program weekend. You will also get links to videos and recommended (but not required) reading material. Your first foundations workbook will be available at your house studio before your first module.
Start your observation hours. Whether in your host studio, or another local studio to you, make sure you follow the studios policies to collect hours of observation. Study their teaching habits. Everyone has their own style. Watch the bodies in the room and how they move with the exercises. Listen to the cues and what seems helpful. Pay attention to how the routines build. Watch for the equipment changes.

Our 400-hour Reformer and Mat Pilates Instructor Training program equips you to teach dynamic group Pilates classes using both classical and contemporary Pilates methods. This course provides in-depth training on the Reformer, along with Mat Pilates instruction, preparing you for a thriving career in the fitness industry. With Pilates Reformer classes in high demand, this program offers the skills needed for gainful employment in the ever-growing Pilates community.
Our 700-hour Comprehensive Pilates Mentoring Program is designed to provide an in-depth understanding of the Pilates method. The program covers all essential Pilates apparatus, including Mat, Reformer, Wunda Chair, High Chair (or equivalent), Ladder Barrel, Spine Corrector, Cadillac, Ped-O-Pull and Magic Circle.
The program includes lectures on the history of Pilates, anatomy, and working with special populations, along with dedicated hours for observation, practice teaching, and self-practice under expert guidance.
The program is structured in self-contained modules, each building on the previous one, allowing you to fully absorb the Pilates methodology. Advanced exercises are incorporated, and upon completing the 700-hour program, you will be eligible to sit for the NPCP exam, if desired.
